Haymarket’s Global Impact Report, 2024-2025

Welcome to Haymarket's Global Impact Report 2024/25
Kevin Costello, Global Chief Executive
It was around this time three years ago, at our annual senior leadership summit, we unanimously agreed we owed it to our audiences, our communities and our people to speed up the pace when it comes to shaping a better future with remarkable content.
We launched Haymarket Impact in 2023 as a continuation, acceleration and unification of the work already underway globally to drive meaningful change, using the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals as our guide to keep focused. Of those 17 Global Goals, we still believe that Quality Education, Gender Equality, Climate Action and Partnerships for the Goals are where our focus lies, intertwined with our unwavering commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.
Fast forward to today and Haymarket Impact has celebrated its second anniversary and with it a list of milestones, with many more to come. Over the past 12 months we’ve celebrated more than 60 award wins worldwide, reflecting not just the quality of our work but the conviction with which our teams show up for our audiences, customers, and communities.
One recognition I’m particularly proud of is retaining the Employer Excellence title at the AOP Digital Publishing Awards 2025 for the second year running. This is more than a trophy; it’s a testament to who we are as an organisation and the environment our people create for one another on a daily basis. It underlines our commitment to creating a workplace where talent can grow, thrive, and make a real difference.
[AOP Employer Excellence] The Judges said: This entrant stood out for embedding inclusivity into the fabric of their organisation, improving accessibility, and supporting employees in a culture that values difference.
Our commitment to Impact is being recognised globally too. At the ESG Business Awards in Singapore, Haymarket was honoured with two prestigious wins - a first for Impact in Asia - the Carbon Disclosure Award and the Gender Equality & Women Empowerment Award - a testament to the teams globally working hard to ensure we walk the talk.
Haymarket’s Global Impact Board continues to meet quarterly. As its Chair, it’s been a privilege to oversee everything from another year of hard work measuring our global emissions, to mandatory employee Impact training completed around the world, while conceptualising and bringing to life the next round of modules at the same time. New global policies have been rolled out and implemented, with environmental standards and ethics front of mind, alongside the continuation of Haymarket Impact’s global content audit, measuring how much of our work is helping to inform our specialist audiences, clients and partners when it comes to their own ESG commitments and goals.
Sticking to our mantra to think local, act global, we are celebrating the one-year anniversary of our first-ever global charity partnership with the British Red Cross. In a year of horrific disasters and conflict, this partnership has shown the power of coming together to create meaningful change and provide support for communities around the world who need it most. Meanwhile, we continue to work closely with our many local charity partners and communities, as you will learn more about as you read on.
As you read this year’s Report, I hope you’ll see not just what we’ve achieved, but why we do it: to create work that matters, build a culture of excellence, and use our voice and influence for good.
