Partnerships for Good

Supporting our local and global communities is a cornerstone of Haymarket. In the past 12 months, colleagues across our global business have put aside nearly 2,000 volunteer hours dedicated to serving our communities.

Behind that number are real acts of support: teams rolling up their sleeves at community events, sharing professional skills with charities, mentoring young people, and showing up where local partners needed an extra pair of hands.

From ongoing support and fundraising for the Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen and Centre for Hope and Safety in the US and The Real Junk Food Project - Twickenham in the UK, to multiple beach cleanups in Asia, sponsoring charity auctions in India, and planting trees and building animal shelters in Germany.

Our employees continue to go above and beyond to support the charities and communities we serve, dedicating their time, energy, and creativity to make a difference.

The British Red Cross: one year of a unified Global Partner

We’re celebrating one year of our partnership with the British Red Cross, supporting its Disaster Fund — a lifeline that helps communities prepare for, respond to, and recover from crises wherever they occur. As part of the world’s largest humanitarian network, the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement operates in more than 190 countries, guided by the values of humanity, impartiality, and neutrality in service of people in urgent need.

This marks the first time Haymarket has aligned behind a single charity partner across all our locations — from the UK, US, and Canada to Hong Kong, Singapore, India, Germany, and the Netherlands. That unity matters. With one shared focus, our people can amplify impact across borders, pooling expertise, resources, and fundraising energy toward humanitarian action that scales.

Paul Amadi, Executive Director Marketing, Fundraising, and Communications, British Red Cross, said: “A huge thank you to Haymarket Media Group for an incredible first year of partnership. We’re so excited for what the next two years will bring.

In a world where humanitarian needs are growing every day, it’s more important than ever for businesses to step up. And not just in the immediate aftermath of disasters, but by helping communities prepare, respond, and recover for the long haul.

That’s why partners like Haymarket are so vital. You’re helping to shape what meaningful corporate support looks like; standing shoulder to shoulder with global emergency responders like the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement.

By supporting the British Red Cross Disaster Fund, you’re enabling us to act across every stage of a crisis, be that teaching first-aid, delivering emergency supplies or search and rescue, or helping people rebuild their lives through cash support and mentorship. Together, we are the world’s emergency responders.”

Our contribution

Through our live events in the UK alone, we have raised £35,000 for the Red Cross, alongside individual initiatives such as running the London Marathon and blood donations in Germany. We have also contributed to urgent global appeals, including donations to support the wildfire recovery efforts in California, the Myanmar earthquake appeal, and the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) Middle East Humanitarian Appeal. These efforts provide critical emergency support to people affected by crises today and those at risk in the future.

Globally, our efforts have seen Haymarket raise £382,500 for charitable causes in the past 12 months. Alongside the British Red Cross, our donations have supported the Center For Food Action in the US, The LSVD – Association for Queer Diversity in Germany and The Real Junk Food Project - Twickenham in the UK.

A deeper look at local action

In our London HQ, an employee vote selected The Real Junk Food Project - Twickenham (TRJFP‑T) as our new local UK partner, following five successful years with Skylarks. TRJFP-T’s mission - feeding bellies, not bins - rescues surplus food that might otherwise go to landfill and transform it into nutritious meals for those who need it most. Any remaining food is redistributed locally, helping reduce waste, tackle food insecurity, and strengthen community connections.

Partnering with proven, best‑in‑class organisations like TRJFP‑T shows what’s possible when collaboration is genuine and purpose-led: together, we can drive meaningful, measurable change for people and the planet.
